About
Trois Pois means "three peas" which honors family and its ability to nurture, ground & draw strength. The studio is run by designer & artist Marie Gupte. Although Trois Pois is currently being run virtually, the studio is physically located an hour north of Manhattan, just outside Cold Spring in Garrison, NY. We are near the beautiful Franciscan Monastery Graymoor, where Marie frequents for its breathtaking views and inspiration.
Studio Trois Pois focuses on making prints & patterns by hand that connect to moments with found objects or styles. It is owned and run by ECD Marie Gupte of New York. Our studio is passionate about creating for joyful moments. We fully believe you can create a life you love and to us creating is like poetry. "Your life is your poetry, create your poem" We do it all for the love of prints."
About Marie
Marie is equipped with over a decade of design experience. She studied Apparel/Textiles and earned her Bachelor’s in Fashion and Business. Post graduation she obtained advanced credentials in design and illustration. Her dream was to open and run an independent studio as a designer. In order to strengthen the business and to navigate these uncertain times and challenges, Marie is currently studying Intellectual Property Law through UPenn. She will remain the ECD at the studio and continue to create and make art.
Marie is currently the Executive Creative Director of Studio Trois Pois and is happy to troubleshoot any questions or concerns.
